I’ve been meaning to put this track up for a while now. Recently I attended a family reunion and it really got me appreciating my loved ones and keeping them close to me. This track by (old school) Kanye West creates that whole nostalgic feeling and epitomizes some part of every family and their matters. Sure, no family is perfect and sometimes they’ll irritate the living fuck out of you, but that’s all forgotten when the good times are rolling. Whether it be your sister, 3rd cousin or even a close friend, they are your family and must be kept close to your heart. It doesn’t matter if you see them three times a week or once a year, when you meet up again it’ll be like you never said goodbye in the first place.
At the end of the day, it’s those close bonds that keep us alive. Here’s to family.
