This weekend though we are fans because Untamed Youth is taking big bad chances with it’s apparent nu disco / house theme. By booking two of the biggest acts in South African that aren’t even on a quarter of their audiences radar.
Nas has gone a little adventure. So expect awful grammar and spelling. But first this truly awful looking movie. Not the special effects guys… those look truly incredible. Not the concept… that held true promise. But the awful direction and truly awful choice of actors. What the hell is going on Sony Pictures?

Last night’s State of the Nation address was something else. Filled with more drama than anyone could have expected, with elected officials being thrown out and assaulted by security forces and the press finding their freedom literally jammed. It was a lot to take in, so we thought we would summarize the event for you in typical Another-Day fashion (Daily Maverick is running a pretty ongoing hard news summary if you need more).
It’s almost Valentine’s Day and oh my god there is a lot happening, I mean a lot. We tend to be picky about these kinds of things nowadays so we have saved the best for last this week. Those crazy cats over at LOREM IPSUM are at it again and this party certainly looks like all the right kinds of fun.
So there you have it. Sony have crumbled to the might of Disney and the Dollar. Looking to fill their pockets, the studios have teamed up to finally bring Spider-Man (who Sony owns the film rights for) into the same world as The Avengers (which is the team Marvel owns outright).
