10 solo albums down and I’ve probably listened to every single one of them. In my opinion, he’s easily in the top 5 list of the greatest rappers that have ever lived.
He blew up like crazy and made classics like this with Lauryn Hill – before she stated she’d rather starve than let white people buy her music. People knew and loved this song before they even knew who the artists were.
I’ve listened to Nas mature from rapping about blunts, cars, bitches, knockin’ boots and money, to this latest effort about raising a daughter in this current, messed up world, where girls legs spread easier than Rama on toast.
