Oh cats, you’re the best. Other animals too, I’m sure, but I’m not really that interested in too many of them. I do, however, really dig artist Jemma Salume‘s beautiful cartoonish representations of numerous animals. She’s been doing them for a while in a special DeviantArt gallery. I am, apparently, the only human being in existence South Africa who thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man 3. I enjoyed it so much because it was a rare opportunity seized by filmmakers to produce an actual movie/film based on a comic book, rather than yet another movie that attempted to be said comic book.

Game of Thrones? Can’t stand hearing about it on social media every time a new episode comes out. But 80s and 90s fashion? Man, when that shit pops up in my timeline it means it’s gonna be wrapped around beautiful people walking the streets of anywhere on Earth. And art?
Every illustrator’s dream is to be a part of something as great as AMI Collective (trust me, I would know). They’re one of the top design and illustration collectives in the country, if not the best, and it is evident in the extravagant work they have produced over the years. Citymob are launching a sale today, offering the public the chance to get their hands on some of AMI’s prints at very reasonable prices.

Check out Zapiro‘s latest dig at SA President Jacob Zuma for the Mail & Guardian published here today. In all honesty, I’m finding his attacks on Zuma repetitive and they long ago veered off the path of political commentary and into the realm of personal vendetta. The inclusion of the little poem is “cute” but also pretty lazy.
