Man, it’s been way too long since we last heard anything out of Canadian sensations Tokyo Police Club but the four year wait is now over. Here is the first single off of the guys’ fourth studio album Forcefield, due out on March 21st. Hot Tonight shows us that the guys are growing up. The track is relaxed, fun and gives the feeling that these guys are just happy to be making music with one another.
Tokyo Police Club was always known for their playful nature, and if you aren’t familiar with them this track is a great example of their sound. After their amazing cover album Ten Songs, Ten Years, Ten Days in 2011, this album has been a long time coming and like other fans I cannot wait for the whole thing. Bring it on, guys, we’re amped.
