Track of the Day: Hot Soles – Ready to Burn

Man, it’s Tuesday and this week really feels like it’s dragging itself already and it’s a cold day out in Jo’burg. That means that I need something high energy and feelgood to get me going. Enter: Hot Soles, a duo out of the UK that I just recently stumbled onto. They have this really great energy that I can’t help but fall for. I heard the song ‘Ready to Burn‘ first, then found the music video, which is so great. A split-screen video showing us how good it must be to see these two perform. Despite this duo being a guy on guitar and a guy on drums, there isn’t really anything small about their sound or this song. It’s got one of the best vocal performances I’ve heard in ages, it’s hook-filled and catchy as fuck. These two are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
