It’s nasty and it makes my shoulders pop-pop. Musical Chairs haven’t released a mixtape for quite some time now, but this latest 20-minute goodie of theirs makes up for all that lost time. I’m not sure what it means to “twerk it”, so I had a look at Urban Dictionary and this is what it said: “to work one’s body, as in dancing, especially the rear end”.

Just a few years ago, wanting to set foot in Jo’burg meant convincing your friends from the upper middle class suburbs that you’d drive and that you’d leave before midnight. Sorry, my friends were pussies. It hasn’t taken all that long for the city to become not just some trendy new place to hang out, but the source of all the best parties around.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Pretoria has never made sense to me.
What I do get, however, is why folks would want to party like drunk indie rockstars there. That’s why we were in P-Town anyway: for the first leg of The Desmond & The Tutus ‘MNUSIC’ album launch tour.

So if you didn’t know already there is a great new venue out there in Jo’burg called CRU CULTURE CLUB and it’s just outside of town, to be precise it’s in Shelby village. It’s big, it’s banging and we kinda think it’s time you guys go out there and give it a try.

I’ve never really had a bad night at The Alex. Even that time I showed up too late to watch anyone but The Tutus play to an overflowing roof, got in a scuffle with some vampires on the steps and watched the po-po throw everyone out before 4am. Saturday the 2nd of June will be no different when The Party Harders show up to blow our feet apart, together and then apart again.
