DFA 1979 Release New Single

If you love any form of rock music you will undoubtedly know or at least have heard of one of my favorite bands, Death From Above 1979. It’s been 10 years since the band released their first and only album, You’re a Woman And I’m a Machine, one of the most genre defining albums of many a music lover’s collections. Back in 2011 the guys reformed and played a tour that killed all fans’ hearts around the world who were unable to attend and now they’ve finally resurfaced to take back their rock & roll crown with the release of their second album The Physical World.

The debut single is out. Titled Trainwreck 1979, it takes us all back to that full frontal bass guitar and drum work. For those who don’t know DFA’s sound, it is literally just two extremely talented men smashing the shit out of their instruments and smattering your ears with delight. Catchy, bold and real, the boys are here to show all the kids how it’s done. Have a listen below
