Finally, the Morgan Freeman/Nelson Mandela jokes can stop. Right? I’m pretty sure I prefer Idris Elba in the role, as he is here in the film version of Long Walk To Freedom. The use of that K’naan song from the 2010 World Cup aside, this trailer makes the movie look like it’s gonna be pretty great.

Despite its failings, I quite enjoyed Amazing Spider-Man. It stuffed around a bit with its edit and its villain, but for the most part it gave moviegoers and comic fans a more complex take on Peter Parker. I’m less excited for its sequel, cleverly titled Amazing Spider-Man 2, which is shaping up to be a tad overcrowded, promising Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as The Rhino, and now some pretty strong suggestions that Dane DeHaan will play The Green Goblin alongside Phil Cooper’s Norman Osborn.

I could NOT make this stuff up, you guys! So Sharknado pretty much blew up all over everyone’s internet machines over the last few days, but none of us are prepared for the epicness that SyFy is planning on using to follow it up. I’m talking about Ghost Shark, which is about a shark that hunts people whenever they get wet, in ANY situation.

Not only have they managed to drudge up Tara Reid from whatever graveyard Hollywood buries its former teen movie stars in, but they also walked a few rows up and tracked down Beverly Hills 90210‘s Ian Ziering.

I never wanted to see the first Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, but after sitting down with my nephews one morning to pass the time, I found myself getting really into it. Because the movie (directed by 21 Jump Street and Clone High‘s Chris Miller and Phil Lord) was genius!

Say whaaat!? The first full trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is finally here! It’s the 80s so there’s some Journey, plenty of sexy leather and I’m pretty sure Brian Fantana is sporting an earring in one of those early shots. Things have changed for the news team but they’re about to prove why they’re the legends that they are on a new 24-hour news channel.

Seriously, do these guys know how to make a bad film together? I’m so glad they found each other. It’s not that Martin Scorsese‘s career was in the toilet or anything before he first worked with Leo, but you can’t deny that DiCaprio revived some of the old man’s magic.
