I never thought I’d see the day that a Sonic The Hedgehog trailer started with a Hans Zimmer style “bwaaaaahhh” horn score. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Everything from our childhood is making a comeback and when it does, it’s coming back vewy, vewy sewiously. Bwwwwaaaaaaaaahhhhhh. Not that Sonic ever really went away, I guess.

Cresta was a pretty weird place to be last week Wednesday, but as we came to realise, it was actually a launch for the 2nd season of The Amazing World of Gumball on Cartoon Network! Check out this video to see all the strange happenings on the day, along with people’s reactions.
Jaz has talked before about how much he loves cartoons, especially at the expense of real life (whatever that is), but even he’s willing to believe that the stuff he loves can’t transcend the limitations of the medium, a la Who Framed Roger Rabbit? or Space Jam (although, yeah, teaming up with Bill Murray to win a basketball game against aliens still seems feasible to me).
