Beatenberg‘s video for their hit Chelsea Blakemore is, for my money, the best piece of music-related aht to come out of South Africa this year. But what is it trying to teach us about life, music, pools and the titular Chelsea?

If you saw the Dead Island trailer that was released 2 years ago, you’d know that it justified winning a Cannes Creativity award. A live-action remake of the zombie game trailer has been put together by some very passionate fans, and they’ve done a pretty solid job of it. Director BJ McConnell has overcome some of the challenging hurdles and has capturing the essence of the original.

Twenty-Four by Thirty-Six is an upcoming documentary directed by Kevin Burke that looks to explore the world of movie poster art. From the initial sketching stage, to the screen-printing process, right up to the copyrighting issues. A Kickstarter campaign has been set up to finish producing the film, and what they’ve put together so far looks very promising.

We’re pretty excited for the release of Ben Stiller‘s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. There’s a new 2-minute clip from the movie out and it gives a good impression of what the movie is all about. One minute, Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller) is on the phone trying to sort out something with an online dating site, the next minute he’s jumping into a building that’s about to explode, saving his love’s 3-legged dog.

We love Batman, but nowhere near as much as this boy. Miles Scott is a 5-year-old who was diagnosed with leukaemia and is now in remission. There’s one thing he’s wanted to do all his life: to become Batman. The Make-A-Wish Foundation, with the support of over 7,000 people, turned San Francisco into Gotham City for day to make Miles’ dream come true as BatKid.

Night In The Woods is a new indie game by Infinite Fall (Alec Holowka and animator Scott Benson) that reached its $50,000 production goal on Kickstarter in just 26 hours. The story follows Mae, an angsty cat with paranormal powers who, after dropping out of college, returns home to a deteriorating mining town.

So there’s this historian guy by the name of John Maloof who bought 100,000 undeveloped negatives at an auction for $380. What he discovered was an extensive collection of street photographs, portraits and selfies from a nanny named Vivian Maier, who worked in Chicago. This “Mary Poppins with a camera” wasn’t known for her photography, simply because she never let anyone see it, but her previously unknown collection was something extraordinary.

It stars Angelina Jolie, who looks like she portrays the sinister character very well. What I wanna know is, why the hell is the trailer made out like a wannabe Christopher Nolan movie?
