Every year, thousands of people from around South Africa take a great trek on the road to Northam in the Limpopo province for Oppikoppi, the country’s longest running music festival. This year, Another-Day decided to pitch our tents in the only shady spot in the entire festival, the media area, and proceeded to interview whoever the fuck would say Yes. Which, as it turns out, is a lot of people. We learned that we weren’t the only people sad that Limp Bizkit weren’t playing Oppi again. Nope, everybody else (and we do mean everyone) was too.
Thanks for putting us up in great accommodation, Windhoek, and thanks for looking after us so well at the media area, Hilltop Live. Enjoy the sounds of Limp Bizkit, err’body. See you at next year’s Oppikoppi, err’body.
Our Special Thanks to all our Interviewees: Bye Beneco; Jack Parow; Captain Morgan (Live Like The Captain, people); Chantel Van T; Shortstraw (Have my babies, Tom!); Jakobsnake; Dirty Paraffin; Das Kapital; Fuzigish; Niskerone; Okzharp; Nakhane Toure; Justin Serrao; Jakkals; Matthew Mole (marry me?); Black Cat Bones; CrashCarBurn (so… Tweak); No Chocolate Before Dinner; Facing The Gallows; Beatenberg; and Jakobsnake (again).
