Little known and possibly completely made up fact: 30 is the age at which you should stop reading Cosmo or you will morph into Meryl Streep in Death Becomes Her. And that’s science. That’s why each year Another-Day selects 30 people we really like, 30 people we feel have either really achieved something or 30 people who consistently do amazing work, and we ask them to review the previous year’s cultural output. Today, two of those people are Kellyn Fung and Anthony Bila.
We ask each participant in 30 People On 2014 for four simple things. They tell us what movies we should’ve watched, what music we should’ve heard, the best thing about their 2014, and what they hope is to come in 2015. This is what they said…
Kellyn is the Fashion and Beauty Editor at Marie Claire. She’s also part of DJ duo The Mighty. She’s also awesome.
Your Favorite Movie from 2014 (and why, if you dig):
The Grand Budapest Hotel comes to mind.
Your Favorite Song from 2014 (we know this one’s hard so choose what comes to mind):
Your Best Moment of 2014 (this can be personal or something that impacted society as a whole):
New York for the weekend – it was totally extravagant. But pretty necessary.
The Thing You’re Looking Forward To In 2015 (what do you know will happen, or hope will come around in 2015):

Anthony Bila is a photographer, copy writer, producer and artist. Clearly he is blessed.
Your Favorite Movie from 2014 (and why, if you dig):
Frank. I liked Frank’s frankness to be frank. I’m a music and movie lover, and the way this film’s narrative plays out alongside the advent of social media really intrigued me. Also, the movie was just plain weird.
Your Favorite Song from 2014 (we know this one’s hard so choose what comes to mind):
Mndsgn – Camelblues. One of the most underrated producers and my favourite of the moment, this song just expresses “the way that I feel”.
Your Best Moment of 2014 (this can be personal or something that impacted society as a whole):
Buying my first home and setting up my art/photo/music studio space has been a great feeling, mostly because I have the space now to do the things I just couldn’t whilst living at home.
The Thing You’re Looking Forward To In 2015 (what do you know will happen, or hope will come around in 2015):
I have a trip to London, Paris, Stockholm, Berlin & Amsterdam that is on the cards, keen to see a different part of the world, travelling alone and learning about myself. 2014 was a hard year for me and 2015 is also lining up to be somewhat of a watershed year for me.
