Tuesday night was a bit of a surreal experience for me. I was meant to go see Joshua Grierson and Naas Veld play a semi-private gig in Westdene. The event was hosted by City Soiree, a Cape Town performing arts organization that would fit in just as well in Williamsburg, New York as it would here (Williamsburg is still cool, right?).
